Growing up in an East Asian household, matcha was never a trend but part of everyday life. When I moved to the UK, I struggled to find that same standard.

Too much of what was labelled “ceremonial” lacked depth. Too many functional blends sacrificed purity for marketing claims.

BYG Matcha was created to bridge that gap.
