How to make a cozy Honey Matcha Latte (Hot) - Natural Throat Remedy

This recipe creates a rich, frothy, and comforting beverage. The natural sweetness of the honey complements the grassy notes of the matcha perfectly, creating a sophisticated flavour profile with its antioxidants power and metabolic support.

Ingredients

2-3gram BYG MATCHA 1,000-mesh matcha powder 

1 tbsp Raw Honey (Local honey is best for added wellness benefits)

¼ cup Hot Water (Set to 80°C—do not use boiling water)

¾ cup Whole milk or Creamy Oat milk

Optional: A light dusting of cinnamon on top

Instructions

1. Whisk the Base: Sift the matcha into your favorite mug. Add the honey and the hot water. Use a bamboo whisk or electric frother until the mixture is thick, dark green, and free of clumps.

2. Heat the Milk: Heat your milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.

3. Froth: If you have a frother, aerate the milk for 20 seconds until you have a thick, velvety micro-foam.

4. Ice can be added if prefer iced version. 

4. Pour & Combine: Slowly pour the hot milk into the matcha base. If you want to try latte art, hold back the foam with a spoon until the mug is nearly full, then dollop the foam on top.

5. Serve: Garnish with a tiny drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of matcha powder.
